Training for employment

Envera, in its mission to achieve and support the employability of people with disabilities, provides professional programs and specialized courses in different branches of knowledge so that students increase their chances of access to the labor market.

Our experience, based on a practical and individualized methodology, and the successful promotion of our students are our best guarantees.

In addition, all our students receive guidance and counseling to access a job:

  • Active job search.
  • Preparation of personal interviews.
  • Elaboration of curricula.

FREE COOKING COURSE WITH INTERNSHIP IN THE HOTEL INDUSTRY

The main objective of the course is to enable and train people with disabilities to perform tasks related to the field of hospitality as kitchen assistants, waiters and waitresses and thus be able to access one of the most sought after professions in the labor market.

To this end, students will learn various techniques, procedures and essential habits through meaningful learning and will develop competencies and skills adapted to each of them. They will learn about the elements that make up a kitchen, the machinery and tools that are used, they will know how to work with raw materials, prepare food and present culinary preparations. In addition, they will be trained on the functions to be performed by each member of the kitchen staff, the ideal conditions of the premises, and the rules of safety and hygiene at work.

With all this, they will receive a complete training to be able to work as kitchen assistants and helpers or as dining room assistants.

Recipient requirements

  • To have Spanish nationality or be a citizen of the European Union or of the States party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area or Switzerland who are in Spain in exercise of free circulation and residence. Foreigners who are not citizens of the European Union must have a valid residence permit.
  • Have a recognized degree of disability equal to or greater than 33%. Social Security pensioners who have a recognized permanent disability pension in the degree of total, absolute or great disability, and pensioners of passive classes who have a recognized retirement pension or retirement pension due to permanent disability for service or
    disability.
  • Be at least 16 years old and less than 31 years old at the beginning of the training program.
  • Be registered in the National Youth Guarantee System.

Duration

  • From February 8 to June 26, 2023.
  • A total of 465 hours of training with internships in the hospitality industry.

The course is free for students.
