Sports and Leisure

At Envera we believe in sports as a means of personal improvement, transmission of values and social inclusion. That is why we have been 30 years betting on sport for people withfor people with disabilities through an extensive program of physical, sports and leisure activities, which have been enjoyed by more than a thousand athletes during this time.

We belong to the international movement Special Olympics and we count on the ex-seleccionador Vicente del Bosque as ambassador of the 30th Anniversary of the sport at Envera.

Currently, Envera's Sports Service has a sports program of educational, therapeutic, training and competitive activities, which also includes participation in sports and cultural events.sporting and cultural events.

Move and don't stop

A project of physical and sports activities that is currently carried out by more than 300 disabled sportsmen and women and is mainly aimed at the users of our services in Colmenar Viejo.

It includes physical education and sports psychomotor skills classes, dance, swimming, initiation to rhythmic gymnastics, zumba, body expression, boccia, bowling, paddle tennis, adapted golf and other outdoor activities. 

This project is constantly being updated, periodically including activities adapted to the needs, desires and possibilities of the beneficiaries. 

The objective is to promote and promote activities for the maintenance of healthy habits, which are enabling processes of autonomy and decision making so that our athletes can perform them in any context. 

Icarus Sports Club - Envera

A federated sports organization that represents Envera in the different championships and tournaments organized by regional, national and international federations. 

 

Currently, 140 athletes in different sports participate in training and form part of the different teams that compete in tournaments and championships. 

Together with the support of their coaches and volunteers, Envera's athletes have participated in more than 400 national and regional championships, numerous leagues and tournaments and some thirty international competitions in various sports disciplines: indoor soccer and 7-a-side soccer, basketball, athletics, swimming, rhythmic gymnastics, bowling, kin-ball, psychomotor tests and adapted sports in general. 

Other activities

In addition, the Envera Sports Service is in charge of: 

- Organization of own sporting events and in collaboration with other entities. 

- Training and tutoring actions for trainees 

- Coordination of volunteer work in the area of sports.Become a volunteer!
