Specialized service for over 25 years to support people with intellectual disabilities with high support needs. It is an appropriate resource to improve or maintain, at the best possible level, the autonomy and quality of life of the users and support the families who care for them, through programs and therapies tailored to the specific situation of each user who remains in the environment in which they develop their lives.
Envera has a Day Center for People with Great Support Needs at its Comprehensive Disability Center in Colmenar Viejo (Madrid).
Objectives
- To contribute to improving the quality of life of each person, with special emphasis on their physical and emotional well-being.
- Provide the necessary support to the person with a disability, based on the preferences of the person and/or his/her family members or representatives in the development of objectives and choice of activities.
- Promote the social participation of people with disabilities, focusing on their community environment.
Services
The Day Center service is provided throughout the year, Monday through Friday except holidays, from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and offers personalized attention that includes the following basic services:
- Personal care, related to activities of daily living.
- Specialized care: doctor, nurse, physiotherapist, occupational therapist, integration technician, psychologist and social worker, in order to achieve the maximum development of their abilities, promoting the enjoyment of leisure to achieve the highest degree of social integration.
- Transportation and canteen services are also contemplated.
In addition to the Day Center, Envera has an assisted and specializedassisted and specialized residencefor people with intellectual disabilities and high level of dependency.
