Carmila, a company specialized in the revitalization of shopping centers adjacent to Carrefour hypermarkets, and Envera, a non-profit organization that for 40 years has dedicated its efforts to the care, training, job placement, residential care and guardianship of people with disabilities, have inaugurated this Thursday a solidarity space, Envera Punto de Inclusión, in the Carrefour Parquesol shopping center, located in Valladolid.

This place has been provided free of charge by Carmila with the aim of promoting social inclusion and labor integration of people with disabilities served by Envera in order to make their abilities visible. As part of this project, visitors to Carrefour Parquesol can contribute to the social project of the entity through the purchase of objects and suitcases lost in airplanes and airports, from the Envera recycling center. All of them, items disposed of in compliance with the Air Navigation Law and which, once the legal period has elapsed without being claimed by their owners, have been donated to Envera's project.

Baby strollers, sunglasses of different brands, books in different languages, souvenirs from different parts of the world to instruments or tap shoes, are some of the many products that can be purchased at Envera Point of Inclusion.

"In Carmila we understand that making our assets available to the needs of vulnerable groups is a unique opportunity to value the skills of, for example, people with disabilities. But also for society as a whole because if, by strengthening ties with these groups, we learn to value differences, we will all move forward, leaving no one behind, " said Carlos Pilar, Commercial Director of Carmila Spain.

For his part, the president of Envera, José Antonio Quintero, pointed out that "this new opportunity (the Carrefour Ciudad de la Imagen Shopping Center in Madrid has another Envera Inclusion Point), in addition to contributing to the sustainability of our project, has allowed the creation of more than 30 jobs for people with disabilities, In this case, those of two women over 40 years old", and thanked Carmila, Carrefour and its Foundation "for their contribution to making equal opportunities a reality by allowing people with disabilities to demonstrate that they too can be the best at something, a motto that has been with us for 40 years".
