On June 17, the Closing Session of the IX Edition of Consultores Solidarios Madrid took place.
Silvia Losada (ESADE Director) opened the day by highlighting the evolution and improvement of the projects and the growing excitement of the closing days each year. Macrina Camps (Project Coordinator) highlighted the involvement of the consultants and the importance of their work in order to promote new Solidarity Consultants.
Isabel Rallo (Head of Alumni Solidarity at ESADE Barcelona) made a historical review of the evolution of the program over the years, pointing out the importance of the testimonies of the participants in order to encourage the participation of ESADE alumni, and to bring the Third Sector closer to the business world of the Second Sector.
Four groups presented the process of creating the projects, accompanied by the group of Solidarity Consultants, their respective leaders and tutors.
Grupo envera presented its work towards the social and labor integration of people with disabilities, as well as the process and evolution of a macro project developed over 9 months to promote Social Innovation. Beatriz Sanz (Business Consultant), accompanied by Marian Bermejo (Business Development Director) and the Solidarity Group, presented a summary of the experience of the project full of enthusiasm, confidence, commitment and solidarity. She thanked ALUMNI SOLIDARIO and each of the components involved in its development.
Likewise, Pedro Merino, leader of the project, closed the speech with the vision of the solidarity experience, and the involvement of his team in the promotion of Social Innovation. Silvia Losada, closed the day indicating the great challenge they will have to address next year, will be the tenth anniversary, given the high quality of the projects that are surpassed year after year.
