Grupo envera, through its Special Employment Centers and its Outsourcing Services -protected mediation or in other companies-, hired 67 people with disabilities in 2014.
The envera Group would like to thank both our regular collaborating companies and the eight new clients who, in 2014, placed their trust in our Business Development team for the first time in the management of special employment. We hope to continue with the ambitious challenge we have to face in 2015, to double these figures and to continue advancing in the fulfillment of our mission: the social and labor integration of people with functional diversity.
Of the 67 people with functional diversity who have been integrated in our work centers and in the facilities of our collaborating companies, by professional profile, the largest number of workers has been production personnel, with 43 new jobs. This was followed, in order of importance, by the administrative profile, with 24 new jobs created.
In terms of gender distribution, a higher percentage of men were hired (39), while the number of women who obtained an employment contract was 28.
In terms of age, the largest group of people hired is between 30 and 50 years of age, with 63.2%, followed by the 19 to 30 age group (20%), and finally, the group over 50 years of age (16.8% of the people with functional diversity hired).
If we look at the territorial distribution, the envera Group's job placement centers with the highest number of new hires of people with functional diversity have been in Madrid (34 new jobs), followed by Barcelona, with 24 new hires. In addition, 9 people have been hired with the direct mediation of the centers in the Canary Islands.
In total, the envera Group 's Labor Insertion Service advised 174 people in 2014 and provided job placement for 58 people with functional diversity in other companies.
At the end of 2014, Grupo envera changed its name, as a group of social enterprises, comprising Association, Foundation, Corporation and Limited Companies. With this new renewed image, we try to give proximity to our users and collaborating companies.
