Envera has trained 90 people with disabilities, 12 of whom have found employment thanks to the training and job placement projects that the social entity provides free of charge in Gran Canaria in collaboration with the Canary Islands Employment Service. Moreover, the students have rated these courses very positively with an average score of 4.3 out of 5 in the questionnaires carried out at the end of their training.
In total, Envera has taught five Integrated Projects for Labor Market Insertion (PIIIL) this year: Natura Envera (Auxiliary Operations in Nurseries and Gardens), Agro Envera (Horticulture and Floriculture), Gestiona Envera (Administrative and General Services), Envera Distribution (Auxiliary Warehouse Activities) and Envera Management (Management Assistance).
This training is aimed at people with disabilities, especially intellectual disabilities, so that they can obtain a formal qualification, such as certificates of professionalism, to improve their chances of finding a job.
In addition, all certificates include a very important internship period for students to come into contact with the working world and test their knowledge. Specifically, during these months, Envera students have carried out this part of the training in 24 socially responsible companies committed to the integration of people with disabilities.
