Last Friday, February 11, we received in our Radio Terrícola studios in Gran Canaria the creators and members of Trisomy 21: Saúl Santana, Celestino Arencibia and Rayco Mederos. A project that started as a clothing brand and that with the profits carries out sports activities, mainly focused on surfing for people with intellectual disabilities.
As its creators explain, since its inception more than three years ago, the project has always had a broad and inclusive vocation, so its activities are open to everyone who wants to participate and spend a great day on the surfboards with them.
Being as we are at Radio Terrícola, incisive and adventurous journalists who are always one step ahead of the news, we could not talk to the creators of this magnificent project without knowing first hand what Trisomy 21 is. For this reason, part of our team of reporters who had already participated in the Trisomy 21 activities were able to share their anecdotes and experiences on the waves. The summary: an experience 100% recommendable.
