The spokesperson for Ciudadanos (C's) in the City Council of Madrid, Begoña Villacís, has visited Envera Inclusion Point in the Islazul Shopping Center where she learned first-hand about this pioneering project in Europe that employs seven people with disabilities.
After participating in a live program on Radio Terrícola made by people with intellectual disabilities from Envera, Villacís has attended the media to announce that her party will bring to the May plenary session a proposal to "create an accessibility office to ensure compliance with these regulations in the 1700 public buildings in the city, and evaluate the suitability or otherwise of municipal transport such as the Metro or EMT buses".
