Belén Esteban has donated this Thursday 10,000 euros to the envera group, an association that helps people with functional diversity, mainly people with intellectual disabilities, to integrate socially and occupationally in today's world. This amount comes from the GH Vip prize won by the popular star of Telecinco's "Sálvame" and it is the first donation she has made, as she announced when she was the winner, to institutions such as grupo envera, Cáritas, Padre Ángel or Sor Lucía Caram.

The television star has visited the headquarters in Madrid envera group and in a simple but emotional and endearing act has made delivery of the check worth 10.000 euros, has received the thanks of all the staff of the center and some gifts and agendas made by boys and girls with intellectual disabilities and has visited some units of the Center where they deal with improving the skills of people with functional diversity at all stages of their lives. In this case the Early Attention Center and the Special Employment Center.

Belén Esteban, moved at all times, was photographed with the boys and girls of the Center and said that she had long wanted to make a donation to an association of this kind. "I know the parents, and I know what they suffer and the little help they receive from the State", she declared, "I am very proud to do my part in a good cause like this".

GROUP

José Antonio Quintero, president of the envera group, and Pedro Sobrino, general manager, were in charge of receiving it. "We would like to thank you on behalf of envera for this contribution. Thanks to your collaboration we will be able to continue working to achieve a better future for these people," said the general manager, "and to fulfill part of our objectives, making it possible for people with functional diversity, mainly with intellectual disabilities, to be one step closer to fulfilling their dreams, to integrate socially and in the workplace, and to become an active part of today's world.

_GLF8936The most exciting part of the meeting was when a group of boys and girls with functional disabilities gave the television star a series of gifts made by themselves. Belén could not contain her emotion at this detail and has been very affectionate and attentive to everyone. "Keep fighting always, you have a heart of gold," she said. She has also had words of recognition with the professionals of Early Care, an area with which she has been especially interested. "The work you do is not paid," said Belén Esteban.

In addition, to conclude the event, the television collaborator visited the Special Employment Center, where she checked the work being done and had her picture taken with the people who were working there.

For almost 40 years, the Envera Group has been helping people with some kind of disability, especially intellectual disabilities, and has centers in Madrid, Barcelona, Malaga, Tenerife and Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. In its facet of providing labor integration, it employs more than 500 people, and in terms of care, it takes care of a total of 1,500 people with functional diversity. "With our services we cover the entire life cycle of people with disabilities, attending to their needs at different stages of their lives," added Pedro Sobrino.

The envera group collaborates with companies and public and private entities to integrate them into the labor market and that the future of these people is increasingly easier. Invites all people, media, companies to visit the envera group centers to learn about the services provided and the work that develops committed to functional diversity.
