With the arrival of the Iberia Maintenance Management Committee at Envera, we have fulfilled one of the objectives for this new year. A long-overdue visit, with a fundamental importance to continue strengthening ties and get closer to the impressive activity they develop for Iberia, and of which Envera is part by providing 76 workers with disabilities. A great day for everyone.
After a tour of the Envera Comprehensive Disability Center, the group moved on to Radio Terrícola, Envera's radio workshop, where a few surprises awaited them.
At the microphones: André Wall, Iberia Maintenance director; Gema Fernández Luis, Iberia Maintenance HR director; and Teresa Martín Laso, Iberia Maintenance Components director. At the rear, supporting their colleagues, the rest of the Iberia Maintenance Management Committee and, in front of them, an elite team of reporters perfectly coordinated by Andrés and Adrian, psychologist and teacher, respectively, from the Occupational Center in Colmenar Viejo.
The interview was very interesting, with a heterogeneous group of guests from various countries, experts in their fields, specialists in aircraft maintenance of the best airline on the planet, responsible for the work of more than 3,000 people, individuals with extreme responsibility, who nevertheless seemed approachable and natural, who told us about the departments they manage and who were able to deal with the most unusual questions ever put to them in a very humorous way.
We had fun, we learned a lot of things and, always with humility, we also wanted to show them our skills, our most intimate world, what we are capable of doing and giving.
A unique morning in which together, as Gema said, we have honored one of our maxims: changing the world is possible, we just have to know how to value the fact that we are all capable of being the best at something.
Thank you very much for your visit!!!!!
See you around the hangars.
