- 23 Coca-Cola employees participate in a corporate social volunteering program at the Envera Comprehensive Disability Center
Madrid | November 14
This Monday, more than twenty people from the People & Culture Department of Coca-Cola Europacific Partners, who came from different parts of Spain, participated in a day of awareness and corporate social volunteering at the Envera Integral Disability Center in Colmenar Viejo, which was highlighted by a special Radio Terrícola program by the intrepid reporters of the Occupational Center.
The day began with a welcome at the historic Envera Library, which gave way to an immersion in disability with a visit to the different employment services (digital transformation and solidarity recycling center) and assistance services (day center for people with high support needs) that Envera offers to people with disabilities, especially intellectual disabilities.
At mid-morning, the visitors joined an inclusive sports activity where they tested their physical and motor skills with a zumba class that they shared with Envera athletes.
Finally, Radio Terrícola reporters were waiting for them, who asked about the work of a Human Resources team in a large global company, Coca-Cola's relationship with Envera and the different inclusion and diversity projects that both entities develop together.
Both the Coca-Cola volunteers and the people from Envera agreed to meet again soon and to continue developing projects together to boost the employment of people with disabilities and improve their quality of life.
