The general director of the Montemadrid Foundation, José Guirao, and its director of social and educational programs, Cristóbal Sánchez, visited Envera's facilities in the Community of Madrid.
The Montemadrid Foundation has long been one of Envera's main collaborators and its representatives had the opportunity to see first-hand the work carried out at the Group's headquarters in the capital, as well as the training classrooms of the Professional and Adult Education Program, the early care unit and the special employment center.
The attendees were welcomed and accompanied by Pedro Sobrino, CEO of Grupo Envera, with whom they also visited our centers in Colmenar Viejo and learned about some of their activities such as the therapy with dogs in the residence for the elderly of 45 years old, whose building was erected thanks to the special support of the Montemadrid Foundation, or the Halloween costume party of the occupational center and the residence for the seriously affected.
"We are dedicated to social, educational and environmental issues. The Montemadrid Foundation collaborated to make this center and I am happy to see what it is used for and the activity there is. It's a very exciting day for us," said Guirao during the interview with the presenters of Radio Terrícolaa digital radio station created, directed and produced by the users of the Envera Group's occupational center.
During the radio program, Guirao and Sánchez participated in the different sections on cinema, music and variety, and kindly answered questions from the collaborators about the Montemadrid Foundation, telling us about its projects: Scholarships for professional training and learning English outside Spain, support for social integration, commitment to the environment and conservation of Heritage. "It is very important that people know a trade and work as they work here in this center. We give them scholarships to go outside Spain and learn English," explained the Foundation's representatives.
