The network of alliances that Envera maintains with more than 20 social entities makes it possible to help thousands of vulnerable people and families in Spain and abroad every year. In recent weeks, the different offices of this NGO, which was founded by Iberia 47 years ago, have delivered food to local organizations, hygiene material for refugees in Spain or computer equipment for students in Rwanda.
While Envera's founding mission is to accompany people with disabilities throughout their lives so that they can take their place in the world with dignity, as it was created in 1977 by Iberia employees, fathers and mothers of people with disabilities, Envera has also become a regular donor of aid to other NGOs thanks to its Solidarity Recycling Centerlocated in its Special Employment Centers in Madrid and Barcelona, which is managed by five people with disabilities who, in addition to distributing solidarity among those who need it most, have a stable job.
Professionals like Marta, Sara, Elena or Fany, who work as a team every day to classify, prepare and give a second chance to lost or misplaced objects and that are, for many people at risk of exclusion, a unique opportunity to receive help.
Envera does not do this work alone because its priority is that its aid directly reaches those who need it most. That is why they have collaboration agreements with more than 20 NGOs such as Mensajeros de la Paz, Mundo Justo, the Vicente del Bosque Soccer School in Dakar or the Carlos Cruz Díez Orchestra, among others.
The last donations delivered by Envera have been destined to support the work of CEAR and AUDE, but throughout the summer several other collaborations have been made.
In the case of the Spanish Commission for Refugee Aid (CEAR), and with the support of Dia España and MAPOMA, Envera has donated more than 800 T-shirts and sports shoes and 1,200 kilos of hygiene and drugstore products to ninety people, mainly families with children.

The work of AUDE (Asociación Universidad para el Desarrollo en África) is to support doctoral students so that they can complete their studies and, in turn, help other university students. Envera provides them with portable computer equipment with sufficient autonomy so that they can carry out their work and research.
At the beginning of the summer, the Atenea Foundation also received basic necessities and linen to help the homeless in Madrid, while Envera collaborated with Mano a mano by delivering large suitcases that will be loaded with aid to Caritas in Peru.
Envera also works closely with Caritas Madrid, as well as with Volunteers for Africa, founded by Javier García Ugarte to develop a cooperation project in Ethiopia, which has just received a shipment of medicines and humanitarian aid. In addition, a total of 2,400 kilos of hygiene and drugstore products have been delivered to both entities thanks to Dia España.
In addition to the donations from the Solidarity Recycling Center, the training projects that Envera develops in the Canary Islands also have a solidarity focus, since the surplus agricultural production obtained during the students' internships is also donated.
In this case, the students - workers of the Draco Envera and Bejeque Envera projects delivered fresh and organic food to the Red Cross of Tenerife and the Food Bank of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, respectively.
Thanks to this network of alliances, Envera's social work contributes to 11 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the UN's 2030 Agenda. A mission to which the companies that collaborate with Envera, such as Iberia, MAPOMA or Dia España, also contribute to achieve a fairer, more sustainable and better world for all.
