envera Association, NGO accredited in Transparency and good practices

  • The seal provides clarity and added confidence to the donor, as it certifies that the Association focuses its efforts on the areas in which it has experience, that its communication is reliable, and that it makes public the percentage of expenses it allocates to its mission, among other indicators.
  • envera Association differentiates itself as an entity committed to transparency and good management practices.

The Lealtad Foundation, an independent, non-profit institution, has awarded envera Asociación the "Accredited NGO" seal. This is a unique distinction in Spain that helps donors to recognize in a clear and simple way those NGOs that meet their current requirements of transparency and efficiency in management. Thanks to the seal, donors will know that envera Asociación focuses its efforts on the areas in which it has experience, that its communication is reliable and not misleading, or that they can know the percentage of expenses it allocates to its mission, among other indicators.

The granting of the accreditation is the result of the analysis carried out by Fundación Lealtad, which has concluded that envera Asociación fully complies with the 9 Principles of Transparency and Good Practices. "The Foundation has contrasted, among other points, the good functioning of the NGO's governing body for the fulfillment of its responsibilities and the efficient use of its resources, if the entity is sustainable and if its communication is reliable, as well as the coherence of its activities with its mission of general interest", indicated Patricia de Roda, general director of Fundación Lealtad.

"The collaborators of envera Association will know with certainty thanks to this seal that the association focuses its efforts in the areas of social and labor integration of people with functional diversity, that its communication is reliable and not misleading, or that each member will be able to know the percentage of expenses that envera Association allocates to its mission if they decide to collaborate with us, among other indicators," says Pedro Sobrino, director of envera. "It is an honor and a peace of mind for us to know that our work is recognized, and that everyone who wishes to collaborate with envera Association will be able to know the destination of their contribution," Sobrino adds. "We want to continue in the process of consolidating the envera brand to be able to reach more companies and users with the objective of continuing to create and consolidate employment for people with disabilities and to attend to the greatest number of people with disabilities in our assistance services; with the creation of a new neurodevelopment service and the opening of a new residence, day center and occupational center, and the opening to new partners and companies that want to join us in our mission".

The "Accredited NGO" seal is valid for two years and envera Association is authorized to use it in its communication and fundraising materials. "Spanish society has evolved and is now more demanding with respect to all institutions, including NGOs. With the Fundación Lealtad seal, citizens and companies will recognize envera Asociación as an NGO to which they can donate with added confidence," said de Roda.

The "Accredited NGO" seal and its rigorous awarding process are backed by the experience of Fundación Lealtad, which since 2001 has analyzed more than 250 NGOs and prepared more than 1,000 reports on transparency and good practices. Its methodology has been recognized nationally and internationally. The accreditation is open to NGOs of different profiles: associations and foundations, large and small, that develop projects of development cooperation and humanitarian action, attention to disadvantaged groups in Spain and environment. The 9 Principles analyzed include more than 40 indicators of transparency and good practices.
