envera Group celebrates the II Convention
The objectives set for 2015 by the envera Group are focused on achieving more employment and better social integration for people with functional diversity, taking as a reference that 125 people were socially and occupationally integrated in 2014.
The envera group held its second annual convention this Thursday in Madrid with the participation of the president, José Antonio Quintero; the general manager, Pedro Sobrino; the heads of the departments of Human Resources, Economics and Finance, Business Development, Information Technology and Assistance Services; and technicians and professionals working in the different employment and assistance centers in Madrid, Barcelona, Malaga, Tenerife and Las Palmas.
The general manager, Pedro Sobrino, assured that the envera group covers the needs of people with intellectual disabilities in a comprehensive manner, mainly, and aims to fully integrate them into society.
After highlighting the achievement of the certification of Fundación Lealtad, Sobrino underlined that in 2014 "in the economic context that we have lived through of budget cuts in companies and public administrations, I consider that the results of the group have been good; we have grown in job creation and in people served while maintaining the quality of the services provided".
In 2014, grupo envera integrated 125 people with functional diversity into the labor market: 67 were hired by the group and 58 were hired by other collaborating companies.
For 2015, the general director of the envera group stated that "we want to continue in the process of consolidating the envera brand in order to reach more companies and users with the aim of continuing to create and consolidate employment for people with disabilities and to attend, in our care services, the largest number of people with disabilities; with the creation of a new neurodevelopment service and the opening of a new residence, day center and occupational center, and the opening to new partners and companies that want to join us in our mission".
During his speech, the president of Grupo Envera, José Antonio Quintero, explained the reasons for the change of name of the organization, carried out in the last three months, and of its structures to adapt to a new stage after 37 years doing "an extraordinary job in favor of people with functional diversity".
After the speeches of the department directors, who presented their action plan for 2015, the end of the Convention was dedicated to the presentation of envera group awards in different categories in recognition of the work carried out in terms of integration, teamwork, professional career, envera heart and social commitment and involvement.
