Envera inaugurates its mirror room at the Early Childhood Care Center

The project has been financed by the Ambilamp Association.

Madrid | October 26, 2016

Envera's General Manager, Pedro Sobrino, together with Ambilamp's Operations Manager, Alberto Rodríguez, and the Customer Service Manager, Ana Carrión, inaugurated the mirror room, which is now part of the Early Attention Service in which Envera serves 140 children from zero to six years of age with developmental disorders, or who are at risk of suffering from them, with the aim of detecting and responding to their needs as early as possible.

The Ambilamp mirror room will allow families to observe, from behind tinted glass, the children's achievements during their therapies without influencing the normal course of the session.

For Pedro Sobrino, this means "an advance in the therapies with the children and a great support for their families" and he wanted to thank, on behalf of Envera, the commitment and collaboration of Ambilamp, "an entity committed to solidary recycling, to the environment and also, as demonstrated, to people".

The event ended with a visit to the Early Care and Neurodevelopment Center for Children and Youth in Madrid. For more than 30 years, Envera has been offering outpatient assistance to children with disabilities and counseling to their families through a large team of specialists made up of psychologists, pedagogues, teachers, physiotherapists, speech therapists, social workers and occupational therapists.

The Child and Adolescent Neurodevelopment service has also recently been launched, aimed at children and young people between 6 and 18 years of age who have been discharged from the Early Intervention programs due to age criteria and continue to require specialized attention for the development of their abilities and skills.
