The priority for Envera, a non-profit organization that has been working since 1977 for the social and labor integration of people with intellectual disabilities, is the welfare and protected employment of these people whom it accompanies throughout their lives. For this reason, Envera's Support Unit has launched a program to guide, advise and support the workers of its Special Employment Centers (CEE) who have been affected by the ERTE derived from the current situation caused by the global pandemic of COVID-19.
The objective of the Support Unit (UNAP) is to ensure the social and labor welfare of more than 650 workers with disabilities at Envera and with this initiative it seeks to promote their skills and competencies to improve their active search for employment and avoid a possible unemployment situation.
Through personalized interviews, group workshops, adapted materials and individualized follow-up for each worker, UNAP will provide workers with techniques and tools such as job interview preparation, resume improvement and the use of digital portals, among other initiatives.
Envera employees who wish to join this initiative, which will begin to be developed in the EWCs of the Community of Madrid and will later be extended to the rest of the delegations (Barcelona, Malaga, Gran Canaria and Tenerife), can contact their Support Unit of reference.
Envera has currently launched new production lines to reactivate employment. Envera kits, clean room packaging, mask manufacturing or outsourcing activities are just some of the services that Envera offers with the highest quality to its customers and that help to generate employment.
