The general manager of Envera, Enrique Grande, signed this Friday the adhesion to the Incorpora Program of "la Caixa" Foundation to promote the employment of people with disabilities, especially intellectual disabilities, through Envera' s Job Placement Service which, throughout 2022, placed 79 candidates in 38 companies, which were also advised and accompanied during the selection process.
Envera's Labor Insertion Service (SIL) celebrates the fact that last year "all the objectives" proposed with Incorpora were once again surpassed. "We have almost doubled the number of people we had planned to serve, to a total of 200 candidates. We have also managed 110 job offers and have far exceeded the number of people with disabilities inserted."
For Eva Alonso, Envera's SIL technician, "this is one of the most effective and committed projects for people belonging to vulnerable groups. Networking with other entities helps us to reach more people and more companies. The teamwork of the 38 social entities that make up the network is fundamental".
The Incorpora Network in Madrid has also allowed Envera, which has been part of it for nine years, to contact new companies to inform them of the benefits of hiring people with disabilities, especially intellectual disabilities: compliance with the General Law on Disability, improved customer experience, greater sense of belonging among employees, reduced absenteeism, development of sustainability and CSR plans, compliance with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), among other opportunities that allow organizations to be more competitive.
With this work, in 2022 there have been more than thirty companies that have trusted Envera to give a job opportunity to people with disabilities through Incorpora.
