Representatives of Fundación Globomedia and Grupo envera have had the opportunity to visit the facilities and learn about each other's work, as part of a recent rapprochement between the two non-profit organizations.
Marian Bermejo, Director of Business Development at envera, accompanied by volunteer journalist Alejandro Barroso, visited the Globomedia Foundation's facilities in Madrid on April 13, where they were received by its head, Luis Márquez de la Plata. In the conversation held, points of possible future collaborations were sought. For his part, Marquez de la Plata showed us some of the audiovisual pieces made by the Globomedia Foundation in favor of the inclusion of people with functional diversity. During the visit, the representative of this foundation invited us to visit, in the near future, the set where the infotainment program El Intermedio, presented by José Miguel Monzón, alias El Gran Wayoming, is broadcasted live.
The visit to the program, on Wednesday, April 29, was led on behalf of the envera Group by its General Manager, Pedro Sobrino, Marian Bermejo and Beatriz Sanz, envera's business consultant.
The evening went smoothly, thanks in large part to Marian García, production director of El Intermedio, who gave us access to the presenter to tell him of our desire to collaborate in a charity concert, yet to be determined.
In addition to thanking Luis Márquez de la Plata and Globomedia Foundation for their invitation, along with the careful attention we received, he was invited to visit our facilities and areas of action, both in Trespaderne street in Madrid and in Colmenar Viejo. On May 19, Márquez visited the envera Group's headquarters on a guided tour led by Alfredo Sánchez Mateos, Operations Director, who explained to him how the Special Employment Center (CEE) works. He was also able to learn about the activities developed by envera in its Training and Early Attention Centers.
The CEE workers briefly discussed their favorite series with Márquez, and he offered the opportunity to attend the recording of a program or series of the Globomedia production company in the next school year.
Finally, on May 25, took place the visit of Luis Marquez de la Plata to the center of Colmenar Viejo, where, precisely, offered an Open Day for the families of users. The head of Globomedia Foundation could see firsthand the way of working in occupational workshops, the Day Center with severely affected people, our Terrícola Radio and meet the residences of Elderly 45 and Adults.
