Fundación Repsol collaborates with Grupo envera, in our project Beca a un niño, supporting the treatment in our Early Attention Center of 4 children from 0 to 6 years old who have developmental disorders. These children belong to families with limited economic resources and face a long waiting list.
The objective is that these children can access as soon as possible to a global treatment to enhance their developmental capacity. In this way, a complete integration into their family, school and social environment is facilitated, as well as their personal autonomy.
Among the profiles of the children who will be part of the project supported by Fundación Repsol, there is a predominance of communication disorders and maturational delay.
For example, Nora, 2 years and 1 month old, who is on the waiting list in Arganda, and whose parents contacted Grupo envera as a result of a report on Telemadrid. This is a low-income family that first resorted to the CAT (Early Intervention Center) in Arganda, but there they postponed the start of her treatment until July 2015.
