Islazul, Envera and Being Inclusive organize next Thursday the First Inclusive Fashion Conference

Madrid | March 15, 2016

The Islazul Shopping Center, in its dedication to collaborate in actions that promote the inclusion of people with disabilities, will host next Thursday 17 the I Inclusive Fashion Day, organized by Envera - Iberia Employees Association Parents of People with Disabilities, which has in Islazul the first solidarity space in a shopping center in Europe, and Being Inclusive, an entrepreneurial project of inclusive fashion with a social character.

The workshop "SOS ¿Qué me pongo?" will kick off at 5:00 p.m., an event that aims to raise awareness in society about the need for fashion designs that take into account all people so that no one feels excluded and everyone can feel satisfied with their image. Nerea Mayoral, founder of Being Inclusive, will advise visitors on how to organize a good closet with basic, flattering and versatile garments. And all visitors are invited to participate in the inclusive challenge "Wearing a coat is easy, can you do it?

Under the slogan #ModaParaTodos, a dozen models will parade with clothes of the brands that have joined this event (Kiabi, Inside, Pimkie and Shana), they will wear makeup with Sephora products and Extensionmanía stylists will take care of the hairstyles of the participants, people with and without disabilities. Likewise, those attending this 1st Inclusive Fashion Day will be able to admire the designs of Pic&Chip, Ilunion's costume jewelry brand, which is made from recycled materials and components from electrical and electronic appliances.

Special protagonist of the day will be the Paralympic swimmer and journalist Anna Ortiz Sanchis, who will receive the award as winner of the Looking for Fashion contest. Radio Terrícola, which is made by people with intellectual disabilities from Envera, will broadcast the event and will give voice to it through the words of Eva González, journalist and community manager with visual impairment who, through modalavista.com, the first fashion blog for the blind, brings us all closer to the latest trends.
