The Director General for Disability of the Community of Madrid, Alejandra Serrano, accompanied by the sgeneral director of Attention to People with Disabilities and Mental Illness, Silvia Méndez; the deputy general director of Disability Assessment and Early Care, Susana Gutiérrez, and the head of the Early Care and Grants Coordination Area, María José García, visited, together with the councilman president of Barajas, Juan Peña, the Envera headquarters in Madrid, where, in addition to holding a working meeting with the general director of Envera, Enrique Grande, and the director of Support and Care Services, Ana Magalló, they toured the facilities.
Thus, the delegation of the Regional Ministry of Family, Youth and Social Affairs attended the development of treatments of different therapies in the area of Early Intervention; knew firsthand the needs, concerns and projects of the Training Department and Job Placement Service of Envera, where for eighteen years we have been developing together with the Community of Madrid the AILA project, which in its latest editions has been focused on the catering sector with the Formándote Cooking Course, in order to meet the huge demand and the career opportunities it offers us. But they also saw the development of the programs to obtain the ESO diploma and the Crece Formándote plan for autonomy and skills acquisition to gain access to the Destino Empleo project and their insertion in the labor market.
Finally, the general manager accompanied by her team and the councilman president of Barajas, visited our residence with occupational center in Madrid and were interviewed by our reporters from Radio Terrícola.
