The Envera Guardianship Foundation has as its mission to watch over the rights and interests of people with intellectual disabilities when their family disappears or when they are in a situation of neglect. Since its creation in 1977 and under the direction of the Board of Trustees - formed by Iberia, Airbus, Unisys and the president of Madrid Foro Empresarial, Hilario Alfaro - the Tutelar Envera Foundation provides answers to the big question of families: What will become of our child with a disability when we are gone?

The Tutelar Envera Foundation is part of the Envera Group, a non-profit organization with transparency accredited by the Lealtad Foundation, whose objective is the social and labor inclusion of people with intellectual disabilities, accompanying them throughout their life cycle. Its motto is we can all be the best at something.

In addition, the Tutelar Envera Foundation also supports people with disabilities without resources or at high risk of exclusion so that they can access the necessary treatments and aids to improve their quality of life and achieve their full integration into society.

In 2020, the entity awarded a total of seventeen scholarships for children, young people and adults with disabilities with the aim of ensuring that no one is left behind, especially in the face of the coronavirus crisis which is not only health, but also economic and social.

Thanks to this aid, which exceeds 40,000 euros, six children between zero and eighteen years of age have been able to access or continue with Early Care and Neurodevelopmental treatments, nine young people can continue studying various training programs, thus improving their employment opportunities, two people have professional and necessary support for their activities and two others have received technical and leisure support.

The Envera Guardianship Foundation will increase, in 2021, the aid to people with disabilities who need it with six more scholarships and the realization, for the first time, of the I Social Call for the creation of care services for people with disabilities, aimed at non-profit organizations, with an endowment of up to 15,000 euros.
