Envera Group, a non-profit organization with transparency accredited by the Lealtad Foundation and whose objective is the social and labor insertion of people with intellectual disabilities, has launched its own e-commerce platform, Envera Shop, to make it easier for users and customers to purchase products through the Internet, guaranteeing responsible purchasing that allows the preservation of employment and the creation of new jobs for people with disabilities, such as the more than 650 people who work at Envera.
In addition, with the first available items that can already be purchased through the WEB, Envera Shop contributes to the fight against COVID-19 by offering protection items manufactured in the EU such as surgical masks for sanitary use made by the Envera Special Employment Center, FFP2 masks, hydroalcoholic gels with aloe vera or aromas and an anti-fog spray for eyeglass lenses.
This online store will also house the "Envera Handmade" handcrafted products made by the occupational and day centers, which are currently offered at charity markets, at Envera Punto de Inclusión and to companies that wish to purchase them.
In this way, Envera takes another step forward in the digitalization of its commercial area and in social innovation as a 21st century organization, without losing sight of its priority objective, job creation, which is possible thanks to the trust of more than 200 companies that contract its services with Envera as a strategic ally in the development of their social responsibility plans (CSR) and with a direct impact on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Envera Shop thus joins other initiatives that Envera has launched in recent months to reactivate employment, such as Envera kits and packaging in the clean room or the supply of anticovid material.
