Children and adults with intellectual disabilities parade on the solidarity catwalk under the slogan "Fashion for all".


In its third consecutive year, the Jornada de Moda is consolidated as a reference to vindicate that fashion is everyone's business.

The parade included the participation of therapy dogs, children between 3 and 10 years of age, training students and users of the Envera Residence for the over 45s and its Occupational Center.

Renowned brands such as C&A, Benetton, Encuentro, Kiabi, Hug&Clau, Mamá Naturaleza and Alfaro collaborated in the event, presenting their fall collection, as well as Madrid Foro Empresarial.

Islazul Shopping Center, in its dedication to collaborate in actions that promote the inclusion of people with disabilities, has hosted the III Inclusive Fashion Day, organized by Envera, a non-profit organization whose mission is the social and labor integration of people with disabilities and which commemorates its 40th anniversary under the honorary presidency of Her Majesty Queen Letizia.

For the third consecutive year and with the slogan #ModaParaTodos, fifty models paraded with garments and accessories of the brands that have joined this event(C&A, Benetton, Encuentro, Kiabi, Hug&Clau, Mamá Naturaleza, Alfaro and Envera Handmade), wore make-up made by the solidarity group Make Up With Love and Extensionmanía stylists took care of the hairstyles of the participants, people with intellectual disabilities.

As in previous editions, the announcers of Radio Terrícola were in charge of conducting this day, which also featured a musical performance by the artist Marta D'Ávilas. As if it were an adventure, the attendees were invited to join the journey of life in which, as Envera assures, there is room for everyone.

Envera Group is a non-profit organization founded 40 years ago by Iberia employees, whose transparency is accredited by the Fundación Lealtad, and which annually serves 2,500 people with intellectual disabilities in its early care services, child and youth neurodevelopment, training, occupational and day center, residences and guardianship; it employs more than 500 people with functional diversity and prepares more than 300 athletes; it has the support of 250 volunteers and has a hundred collaborating entities. It has centers in Madrid, Colmenar Viejo (Madrid), Barcelona, Malaga, Tenerife and Las Palmas.
