We could not suspect that the Radio Terrícola studio today would be a hive of enthusiastic public, literally taken over by young people exulting with vigor and sympathy.
About thirty students, together with their teachers, from the Salesianos El Pilar School, were settling into the improvised rows of chairs seized from the classrooms adjoining the radio studio. Meanwhile, a bit worried, we looked at each other thinking about how we were going to be able to accommodate so many people, so that they could participate without it becoming an uncontrollable riot. Then there were our guys, already strategically placed, with their minds focused and cool to play a starring role in the exclusive radio broadcast, which today would be broadcast live from the Radio Terrícola website and from the Envera channel on Youtube.
In short, an important hubbub that, little by little, gave way to the calm and solace of the first wedge, which meritoriously linked with the tune, foreshadowing an important and highly emotional program.
With much expectation, emotion and eloquence, we welcomed all these young people and asked them to tell us the reason for their visit, their condition and intentions, not without first introducing ourselves briefly so as not to give us excessive pomp, despite appearances.
All of them are students of TAFAD (Superior Technician in Physical Activities and Sports Animation). They tell us that from their class of Physical Activities for People with Disabilities, the collaboration with Envera arises. But they not only come to our association, for years, to participate in the sports area, but this year they have also thought of Envera to donate all the money they have raised themselves, selling bracelets to family friends and generous neighbors. Elena, a teacher at the center, has promoted this initiative and under the slogan "Living is Attitude" they wanted to show us their commitment to people with disabilities and all that Envera has been building for more than 40 years to help all of them. A gesture that touches us and that we thank from the bottom of our hearts.
After these introductions, where we are already gaining some confidence, we gave way to one of the most fun group dynamics: we played Furor.
Yes, recalling that television program that had such an impact on the young talents of the moment, with a prodigious ear and better intonation, several teams were formed, ready to go wild with the usual hits, with the sole purpose of having an anthological time of laughter and good humor. Everyone won, to be honest, although the levels of the mixing desk collapsed in the red at times.
It was time to say goodbye to the program, and with it to our benefactors. So we proceeded to the delivery of the donation and mutual gifts.
Much gratitude and a lot of sympathy that we have been inspired by creatures of such a high level. They will almost certainly be excellent teachers of people, with and without disabilities.
Congratulations for your initiative and... THANK YOU!!!!
