In collaboration with

New Child and Adolescent Neurodevelopment Unit, launched by the envera Group.

Since January, the Envera Group has expanded its services for people with functional diversity through the opening of the Child and Adolescent Neurodevelopment Unit, aimed at people from 6 to 18 years of age.

This new service has been created to meet the needs of children and young people who continue to require specialized care after discharge from early intervention programs and for those whose difficulties have appeared or have been detected beyond the early childhood stage.

This new unit has an interdisciplinary team that, through an intervention methodology adjusted to the specific needs of each child and family, seeks to correct or compensate, as far as possible, the existing difficulties. Disorders and deficits in the areas of cognitive, motor, social, emotional, communicative, behavioral or acquired brain damage are addressed.

The therapeutic modalities offered are: Neuropsychology, Psychology, Psychotherapy, Speech Therapy, Physiotherapy and Psychomotricity. Within the rehabilitation programs, group activities are also offered when it is considered that they contribute more positively than individualized sessions to the recovery and compensation of the altered functions. Thus, the unit has 3 modalities of group intervention focused on language and communication, motor development, as well as emotional management and the development of social skills.

With this new service, the association covers all the needs of people with functional diversity in this age segment, strengthening its commitment to provide comprehensive care for people with disabilities throughout their life cycle.
