Madrid | March 28, 2022

Envera's Labor Insertion Service has managed to employ 63 people with disabilities thanks to the support of ENAIRE, which finances, through its Call 2021 of subsidies for social entities, one of the most important employment projects carried out by Envera. Besides, 23 of these insertions have been carried out in companies of the aeronautical sector.

In a situation like the current one, in which COVID-19 and the economic crisis have had a serious impact on the social environment, especially on vulnerable groups, companies such as Iberia, Airbus, Farsound or Prosegur have made it possible that, in just four months, more than 60 people with disabilities have had access to a job with support thanks to the ENAIRE Project, whose objective is that a total of 150 people with disabilities benefit from the job placement programs with which Envera promotes their employment.

In fact, some of them have been protagonists on the occasion of Women's Day on March 8.

For Envera, labor insertion is one of the basic pillars in the fight for integration and constitutes one of the most urgent needs of people with intellectual disabilities, whom it accompanies throughout their life cycle with a firm objective: that they may occupy their place in the world with dignity.

For its part, ENAIRE's commitment with the reduction of inequalities is included in its Corporate Social Responsibility plan "Cielo comprometido", as part of the company's Strategic Plan, Flight Plan 2025.

ENAIRE, as a public business entity belonging to the Ministry of Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda, reinforces its contribution to the objectives of the United Nations Global Compact (to which it adhered in 2018), which involves the application of universal ethical values and principles to its entire strategy and to all its operations, and to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) included in the 2030 Agenda; specifically to SDG 10 'Reducing Inequalities', which in its target 10.2, promotes 'the social, economic and political inclusion of all people, regardless of age, gender, disability, race, ethnicity, origin, religion or economic status".

Both Envera and ENAIRE are firmly committed to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) set by the UN in the 2030 Agenda and both entities develop joint activities to achieve a better society for all. With the ENAIRE Project for job placement for people with intellectual disabilities, Envera contributes to eleven of the 17 SDGs, including the end of poverty, gender equality, decent work and the creation of alliances.
