Madrid | May 27
Envera, a non-profit organization that was born from the Iberia company, which has almost 50 years of experience in caring for people with disabilities and leads the Madrid Business Forum's Competitive Social Responsibility Board, participated this Friday in Expo+Accessible, the first online fair on accessibility and innovation in tourism, which has become a benchmark to talk about inclusive tourism.
On May 23 and 24, Expo+Accessible brought together more than 1,600 people to visit the 80 virtual booths of participating companies and organizations and listen to nearly a hundred world experts in a total of 24 panel discussions.

The Director of Communication, Institutional Relations and CSR of Envera, Virginia Ródenas, participated in the Round Table Accessible Tourism: a business opportunity, together with the Director of the German National Tourism Office in Spain and Portugal, Ulrike Bohnet; the European Projects Manager of the Finnova Foundation, Carla García; and, as moderator of the meeting, Beatriz Margallo, Export Manager of Biosphere.
Envera has presented its Dis-Friendly Seal as a competitive and differentiating element for companies that welcome customers with disabilities or elderly people with open arms. This seal is already used by companies such as Iberia and Grupo Itevelesa in Madrid and is supported by the Cabildo de Gran Canaria.

In addition, Envera has reminded that being inclusive and working to build accessible spaces, beyond complying with regulations, is good for all people, whether or not they have disabilities and regardless of their age or needs.
Expo+Accesible has counted as media partner with Radio Viajera, the world's largest platform dedicated to tourism and travel podcasts, from which Envera broadcasts the Tour Dis-Friendly program every 15 days.
