Visit of the Deputy Minister and the Director General of Employment of the Community of Madrid

Madrid | September 8, 2020

Despite the strict sanitary measures in our beloved Radio TerrĂcola, today we have had a great start of the radio season.

As a backdrop, employment in order to emerge from the nightmare of Covid-19 and, on the other hand, some exceptional guests who would have a lot to say and contribute from the political position they hold. Today we have been visited by Eva María Blázquez Agudo, Deputy Minister of Employment of the Community of Madrid, and Ignacio Niño Pérez, its Director General of the Public Employment Service.

After their visit to the Envera Integral Disability Center and the Special Employment Center where Envera provides sheltered and supported employment to more than 650 people with disabilities, the Radio TerrĂcola studio welcomed them with great interest, although the pre-pandemic heat was not possible and that is what we would have liked, with our usual full house of viewers and participants, but with the illusion of experiencing again the interviews and exceptional events that we have had closed these last months.

During this new atypical course, we will face the interviews with a new, more intimate format to maintain security distances, with fewer participants and closed doors, but with the intensity and interest at the highest level, as today's program illustrates.

We invite you to listen to this podcast and judge for yourselves as a preamble to the invitation to what will be a special program that we will conduct at the ConsejerĂa de Empleo in the Community of Madrid, when circumstances are more favorable.

Thanks to our colleagues Cristina and Juan Carlos for their debut in front of the microphones and for sharing their concerns with our guests, such as when Juan Carlos will be able to return to school to accompany the children at lunchtime and teach them not only to be polite at the table but also to be great respectful people, as he likes to say.

And, of course, thanks to our guests and the Community of Madrid they represent for supporting organizations like Envera so that no one is left behind. We wish them all the luck in the challenge ahead of them to make sure that there is work for everyone and we hope to see them again in our studio. Friends, until next time.
