Manuel Parra, president of Club Pegaso Balompié Tres Cantos, and Pedro Sobrino, general manager of Envera, have signed a collaboration agreement for the inclusion and promotion of human values as an engine of progress. The event took place in the sports center of Envera's Integral Disability Center in Colmenar Viejo (Madrid) and was also attended by the vice-president of the historic club, Juan Arias, and Envera's sports director, Amadeo Meler.
With this agreement, Club Pegaso commits to provide invitations to Envera athletes for matches of regional interest or 3rd National Division, to provide playing equipment to an Envera futsal and/or 7-a-side soccer team for their participation in the 2020/2021 season, to have Envera athletes as assistant coaches, support delegates or utility workers, and to allow players from their different teams to collaborate with the NGO in championships, sports days or any other type of sports or leisure activities.
Envera, for its part, will collaborate in the recruitment of players with disabilities in order to create joint social inclusion projects with Club Pegaso, will support the social and sporting life of the club in events or institutional acts and will lend its support in the care of the club's workers with disabilities through its guidance and employment counseling service.
With this agreement of intentions, next season, when Envera celebrates its 30+1 years of inclusive sport (the Covid19 pandemic has forced its postponement), both entities will set out to deploy their best strategy of inclusion on the field of play, demonstrating that we can all be the best at something and that together we are stronger.
