The dean of the Association of Technical Engineers of Public Works Madrid Area, Juan Manuel Alameda, and the general manager of Envera, Pedro Sobrino, have signed a collaboration agreement on social responsibility aimed mainly at improving the quality of life of people with disabilities and their families through their social and labor integration.
The Envera Group, with more than 42 years of history, works together with organizations, companies and administrations -such as the Ministry of Economic Affairs, the Community of Madrid and the Madrid City Council- to raise awareness of the needs of people with disabilities and their families, as well as to actively collaborate to improve their quality of life.
To this end, Envera offers support to people with disabilities throughout their lives, from early care from 0 to 7 years of age, through secondary education or providing professional certificates and preparation for competitive examinations. In fact, social and labor integration is one of its main focuses of attention, through collaboration with companies and administrations as well as through its own work and occupational centers. Envera also offers families day centers and residences adapted to the needs of each person, sports centers, and innovative projects, such as "Envera Inclusion Point", among others.
The Madrid Zone of CITOP wants to deepen its commitment to society and go a step further than the one it maintains from the exercise of the profession itself through this agreement, which also wants to facilitate access to the support measures offered by Envera to the families of members and pre-members who may need it.
