On Tuesday, May 5, a delegation of more than 20 representatives of the Rotary Club District 2021 visited our facilities in Colmenar Viejo. The purpose of the visit was to get to know, in first person, the social work of Grupo envera.
The Rotary Foundation is a nonprofit corporation funded by voluntary contributions that promotes world understanding, peace, and goodwill through the improvement of health, the support of education, and the alleviation of poverty.
The tour went from the Laundry, Data Recording, Manipulated and Blankets services in our Special Employment Center, to the Assistance Area. Once here, the President of Rotary Club, Juan Francisco Hernández, was interviewed by our reporters from the Occupational Center and Radio Terrícola.
Pedro Sobrino, General Manager of the envera Group, thanked the representatives of the Rotary Club for their involvement and participation in the search for synergies in the projects promoted by envera.
The visit continued at the Residence for the Elderly of 45 years of age, where they learned about the daily life of people with premature aging. They also visited our Day Center, where we care for severely affected people.
The day was rounded off with a cocktail party in the center's library, where synergies were shared as a way to open new channels of collaboration.
