Envera, through its delegation in Gran Canaria, offers employment training for people with disabilities who wish to improve their insertion opportunities as well as different services to companies through its Special Employment Center, which provides stable and supported employment.

How Envera was born in Gran Canaria

In 1983 the Envera delegation began its activity with a Rehabilitation Center for the minor children of Iberia employees in order to respond to their needs with early care treatments (stimulation, speech therapy, physiotherapy...).

In 1995, the Special Employment Center the Special Employment Center focused on the activity of manipulation was created in order to offer a job opportunity to people with disabilities.

In 2001, the Canary Islands Employment Service the Canary Islands Employment Service granted the first training project with the award of three courses in the specialties of gardening, cooking and bakery.

Envera Services in Gran Canaria

In the services to companies that Envera offers in Gran Canaria there are a total of 17 people with disabilities employed, 11 in the handling sector and 6 doing gardening work.

We work with companies through our consulting service to help them comply with the General Disability Law and include Competitive Social Responsibility (CSR) as a strategic element to meet their objectives.

Envera, in its commitment to the social and labor inclusion of people with disabilities, maintains a training offer in its Gran Canaria delegation to promote their training and increase their chances of finding a job.

Envera chairs ARCEESCAN

The Association of Special Employment Centers (CEE) of Social Initiative of the Canary Islands was established in 2008 as a non-profit business organization of a sectoral nature and regional scope. It was created to bring together the Canarian CEEs and to become an interlocutor before the public administrations.

ARCEESCAN represents, promotes and defends the interests, both social and strategic, of its member EWCs with the aim of improving sheltered employment and promoting the social and labor inclusion of people with disabilities.


We defend a model of quality employment for people with disabilities, considering that EWCs have a very important social impact and contribute to economic and sustainable growth.


ARCEESCAN is currently composed of thirteen Special Employment Centers of social initiative that employ about 800 workers with different disabilities.
