Specifically, Envera receives this distinction for its commitment to the labor inclusion of people with disabilities and for its social work, developed with the support of Iberia since its founding in 1977, with the aim of accompanying people with disabilities throughout their life's journey so that they can take their place in the world with dignity. Envera serves 5,000 people with intellectual disabilities and their families each year and provides stable and protected employment to more than 950 professionals with disabilities.

Sport was also a protagonist during the ceremony and not only because of the award given to the Paralympic Committee. The president of the CPE moderated a table in which participated, together with Almeida, three athletes who participated in the Paralympic Games in Paris. During the same, the values of sport, such as inclusion, self-improvement and teamwork, which are fundamental in today's diverse society, were highlighted.
The event, held at the historic Moscardó Gymnasium, ended with an exhibition by the Paralympic table tennis team and was also attended by the Delegate of Social Policies, Family and Equality of the Madrid City Council, José Fernández; the president of the Municipal Plenary, Borja Fanjul; the councilman president of the Barajas District, Juan Peña; the general director of Envera, Enrique Grande; as well as representatives of other entities that work every day to promote the inclusion of people with disabilities in all spheres of society.
