- A total of seven students are doing their internships in the public administration

Students with intellectual disabilities from Envera's Destination Employment program are doing unpaid training internships in the public administration, specifically in the Ministry of Economy, Commerce and Business, in the Ministry of Family, Youth and Social Affairs of the Community of Madrid and in Metro de Madrid.
The Undersecretary of Economy, Trade and Enterprise herself, María Amparo López Senovilla, welcomed Victoria, Sergio and Víctor, Envera students who are already supporting the Ministry's officials.
These internships are the result of the collaboration agreements that Envera has with different public entities with the objective that people with disabilities, especially young people, have a first contact with the world of work, improve their resume and gain experience when it comes to accessing a job or taking competitive examinations.
On the other hand, both the Ministry headed by Carlos Cuerpo and the Community of Madrid presided by Isabel Díaz Ayuso, with which Envera has been collaborating in the field of internships for almost ten years, are presented as exemplary administrations for their commitment to the social and labor inclusion of people with disabilities, promoting equal opportunities and social justice.
Another of the most significant examples is that of Metro de Madrid, which already in 2022 made history by welcoming, for the first time, people with intellectual disabilities for internships in various departments, such as the Occupational Health Area or the Logistics Service.
On this occasion, the internships began on April 15 and will be carried out over a period of three months in different departments of the Ministry, in the Ministry's Base Centers and in the Corporate Responsibility Area and the Logistics Service of Metro de Madrid.
