The Regional Minister of Housing, Transport and Infrastructures of the Community of Madrid, Jorge Rodrigo, presented the Dis-Friendly Seal awarded by Envera to the head of Equality and Diversity at Grupo Itevelesa, Carmen MarĂa RodrĂguez, "for its excellence in inclusion and commitment to welcoming all its customers, with and without disabilities, with open arms".

The award was presented this Friday at the conference 'More Accessibility, More Competitiveness. Itevelesa, a dis-friendly company' organized by Madrid Foro Empresarial and Envera at the headquarters of the Pons Foundation and which was attended, in addition to the councilor and president of the Council for the Promotion of Accessibility and Elimination of Barriers, Jorge Rodrigo, by the general director of Transport and Mobility of the Community of Madrid, Luis Miguel Torres; the vice-president of Madrid Foro Empresarial, Pedro Carrillo; the manager of Social Impact of Iberia, Ainhoa Serrano; the general director of Envera, Enrique Grande, who also coordinates the Table of Competitive Social Responsibility of Madrid Foro Empresarial; and the president of FAMMA, Javier Font; among other representatives of companies such as Coca-Cola and Ibercaja.

With its Dis-friendly Seal, Envera recognizes companies, organizations and individuals who work in a socially responsible way with equal opportunities, dignity, rights and freedoms, as well as the social and labor inclusion of people with intellectual disabilities.

In this sense, Grupo Itevelesa is aware of and committed to people with disabilities and their needs, and its professionals have received training on the appropriate attention to customers with disabilities and advice on universal accessibility so that this space is designed and equipped with the necessary elements and means to ensure its use in situations of equality, as explained by Enrique Grande.

The general director of Envera pointed out that this is an "important" act with which "another step is taken to make Madrid a friendly place for everyone and open to the world where anyone can develop their life project regardless of their abilities, qualities and skills".

The Itevelesa Group has received this recognition after its ITV stations and customer service centers in the Community of Madrid passed the audit, training and awareness process carried out by Envera's technical specialists, which certifies that the values of inclusion, excellence, innovation, diversity, efficiency and prosperity, vanguard and empathy contained in the Dis-Friendly Seal have been met.

For his part, the Minister highlighted the commitment of this company "to the equality, dignity, rights, freedoms and inclusion of this group" and assured that the regional government, presided over by Isabel DĂaz Ayuso, "is committed to training and the development of specific programs that allow the people of Madrid to achieve their maximum autonomy and professional progress".
