On-board interview with Ibera's Corporate Management

Madrid | January 30, 2020

The Radio Terrícola studio could well be, as Envera is, the second home of all Iberia workers. Here we welcome with much more than a smile those who were the origin of what we are. We have been living Iberia's social commitment to people with disabilities on a daily basis for 42 years, when we emerged from the colossal idea of those parents, workers of the company, who by joining forces managed to get off the ground a project that today serves more than 2,500 people with intellectual disabilities and employs another 650.

The representation that visited us today is the spearhead of the spirit of commitment and support of the great airline that is Iberia towards the most vulnerable. With María Bello, Director of People Development, and Teresa Parejo, Director of Sustainability, from the microphones of Radio Terrícola we have learned about two of the fundamental pillars of Iberia.

According to our condition of audacious radio reporters, we were able to check the fabulous communicative skills of the guests who, together with part of the teams they manage, were like fish in water answering the infrequent questions that arose at random. What they like most and least about their jobs or the incompatibility of musical tastes between the two, the description of their responsibilities, their work history and the occasional exam question, gave us an idea of their personality and disposition.

We always enjoy our guests, always, but the visits of "fellow passengers" generate a feeling of closeness and affection that, as we get to know new faces, we think that we share something more than the shelter of the wings of Iberia's airplanes, being part of a team that wants to change this world to reach higher and further, without anyone being left behind.

Thank you, a thousand times thank you friends for always being there.
