In collaboration with

Guitars and rock on Radio Terrícola with David Negrón and Eduardo Sell

Madrid | February 5, 2020

Once again, the vicissitudes of life and coincidences are on our side to have close and friendly guests who have made us enjoy a very sensory and didactic morning. From their vital experience we have learned and enjoyed the dazzling effluvia of their guitars. We could not have had a better plan.

David Negrón is a musician and music teacher, as well as a psychologist in dry dock. His professional career dates back to more than 20 years ago, when he decided to hang his brand new university degree on a scarp and proceeded to tighten the neck of his guitar to never let go again, except to change the strings and to play new "axes". After a few forays into the music industry, he has been devoting himself to teaching, recording with different bands and live concerts. He feels privileged to be able to dedicate himself to what he likes the most and enjoys every day feeling close to his instrument. It shows.

Eduardo Sell is David's nephew and with his band, La moneda de Mei, they have already released their first songs. In fact, he is the one who has facilitated the interview because he is doing his university internship in psychology at Envera. To say that he gives us the impression of being a good promise in his two open fronts. We won't lose track of him.

Two characters, two generations, who share the same passion, the instinct, the character of artists, and who transmit it so faithfully that their good vibes have captivated us throughout the interview. Through their words or the notes of their guitars, the little while and the wonderful interview they have given us, has raised a small commotion in our radio workshop, and nearby, cheering and demanding more, much more. But there was not enough time for more, guys.

Andrés Grajera and Adrián Llopis, musical patients and professionals of the Center, have led the spontaneous interventions of the participants on both sides of the microphones, losing sight of the passage of time and ensuring the orderly intervention of the convulsive mob. The program has been very well harmonized by the two guitars, alternating chords and melodies known by all, such as some songs by Dire Straits, AC/DC, Gary Moore or Carlos Santana.

Very good atmosphere and the desire to get home soon to let off steam with one of these infernal instruments that create so much dependence and, at the same time, appease us. Blessed demonic dependence, I say.

So that later they say that music is just to pass the time.

Thank you friends and don't forget that we have a date for the end of May, where you will have to give your all to these passionate followers of the terrestrial waves.

See you soon!
