The return of the vacations has come to Radio Terrícola and, with them, we are inaugurating a new and exciting season. We will continue with legendary programs, such as El Bargueño, Tutorías en las ondas or La Peonza, which have been with us for many years, but there will also be new features that we will be presenting in the coming days. Just as a preview, we will tell you that we will have a new group of actors from Radio Terrícola, who will arrive on the scene with the radio interpretation of tales, fantastic narrations and a series of stories that will invite us to reflection, or will leave us a moral, a thought of wisdom, so that we all learn from the imagination of the great masters of literature. Another important piece of news is that we will continue to increase the number of programs made entirely by our students, our most experienced users, giving meaning to one of the key objectives of the radio workshop: autonomy.
A fundamental part of the programming, in these 6 years of broadcasting, have been the interviews. There are almost 200 interviews that we have accumulated in the Radio Terrícola podcast and where we have tried to be eclectic, open to all kinds of proposals and guests. We have learned from all of them and also, why not, we have modestly taught them our capacity for dedication and generosity in everything we do.
So we could not start off on a better foot: today we have a very important person for us, for what she represents and for the relationship that we will maintain in the coming years. Lara Rodriguez, the new Councilor for Social Affairs of the City Council of Colmenar Viejo, sits in front of the microphones of Radio Terrícola, relaxed and very smiling, to introduce herself and make known how the challenges of progress in terms of people with disabilities in her municipality. She knows, in first person, the obstacles that we face, mainly in schools. She has worked as a teacher, as a teacher, of these future generations of colmenareños and colmenareñas, who share with us this privileged space in the town of Colmenar Viejo.
A few months ago it embarked on an exciting adventure, where we want to be part of it, we want to accompany and also encourage it to grow together. Together we must continue to move forward so that in society, in the institutions, in the day to day, people with disabilities have the recognition they deserve.
From what we have seen today, we are sure that in Lara we have the perfect ally, the ideal partner, in this new promising stage. Today we have all enjoyed, we have had a first contact and we wanted to give her one of the best memories: our most sincere affection and support... well, also our coveted Radio Terrícola T-shirt.
Thank you for your visit and great sympathy, Lara.
