Envera expands its network of alliances with the NGO Pato Amarillo to help people at risk of exclusion

Madrid | June 1, 2023

Envera and the Pato Amarillo Association have signed a collaboration agreement to help vulnerable families at risk of exclusion, especially in the Orcasitas neighborhood of Madrid. Thanks to this agreement, Envera's Solidarity Recycling Center will donate basic necessities to Pato Amarillo to reach the people who need them most.

The first delivery by Envera took place during this week. The donation consisted of various children's products such as diapers, clothing and footwear, school supplies and toys, among other items.

With collaborations like this one, Envera and the companies that support its social work have an impact on 11 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the 2030 Agenda. Even being an organization with a finalist character in the care of nearly 5,000 people with disabilities and their families, Envera has created a network of alliances with more than a dozen NGOs with which it helps more than 25,000 people inside and outside Spain. Entities such as the Red Cross, Mensajeros de la Paz, Cáritas, the 'Vicente del Bosque' Soccer School in Senegal, Volunteers for Africa (Ethiopia), etc.

This network is now joined by Pato Amarillo, the association that emerged in the eighties, founded by Pilar Aural as part of the 'Mothers against drugs' movement, as a result of the serious economic and social situation in which the neighborhood was plunged. It is made up of volunteers who come to carry out their humanitarian work, helping around 2,000 people and more than 800 minors every month.
