Envera and MAPOMA have delivered close to 17,500 food products to the Food Bank Foundation and Mensajeros de la Paz, destined for the people and families that these organizations serve in Madrid. These are beverages, such as water and juices, and foodstuffs that have been donated in 3,500 surplus runner's bags from the Zurich Rock 'n' Roll Running Series Madrid which took place last April.
In line with its commitment to sustainability, MAPOMA has donated to Envera these bags from the marathon to avoid product waste.
For its part, Envera has a network of alliances with other NGOs to which it selflessly distributes this type of aid, either from donations such as MAPOMA's or from its Solidarity Recycling Center, where it recycles objects and suitcases lost in airplanes and airports.
In this way, and still being a finalist entity in the accompaniment and employment of people with intellectual disabilities, Envera has become a benchmark for social action that impacts eleven Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the UN Agenda 2030 and whose donations reach more than 25,000 vulnerable people inside and outside Spain.
Recently, Envera also donated a stroller, through the NGO Mano a mano, to the family of Juan David, a disabled child.
Little Juan David needed a stroller for something as essential as getting home from the hospital.
They confess that "as soon as he saw the car, he wanted to get in".
Very happy to have been able to help his family and @manoamanoong from our Solidarity Recycling Center pic.twitter.com/wWoFYu2eO9
