Envera has held for the eighth consecutive year the Solidarity Golf Tournament in order to support the social and labor inclusion of people with intellectual disabilities. In this edition, the championship was held at the Nuevo Club de Golf de Madrid in Las Matas and was attended by the mayor of Las Rozas, José de la Uz, his councilor of Presidency, Gustavo Adolfo Rico, the general director of Envera, Pedro Sobrino, as well as Iberia and Pedro Núñez Morgades on behalf of Envera's patrons. The sportsmen of the Club Ícaro-Envera had a special role as caddies and collaborating in the organization of the Tournament.

Before presenting the trophies to the winners of the tournament, De la Uz highlighted the important social role played by entities such as Envera and the support of the City Council of Las Rozas for social policies that promote equal opportunities.

Sobrino thanked all the participants and especially all the sponsors for "helping us to continue working to improve the quality of life of people with disabilities".

After the traditional solidarity lunch that accompanies the Tournament, a raffle was held with prizes donated by the sponsors, such as tickets donated by Iberia and Air Nostrum, printers donated by Kyocera, Orange telephones and gastronomic products, among others.

Envera belongs to the international movement Special Olympics and for more than 25 years has been promoting the practice of sports among people with and without disabilities as a means of self-improvement, transmission of values and social inclusion.
