Juan Manuel Gómez, Director of Radio Sol, has presented Envera's President, José Antonio Quintero, with a check for 13,000 euros representing the solidarity box office of the XVII Gran Gala de Zarzuela de Año Nuevo, organized by the Madrid radio station and the Fundación Sinfolírica, which managed to fill the Auditorio Nacional last January, in favor of Envera.
The proceeds from the concert will go to the social and labor insertion projects through which Envera provides assistance to 2,500 people with intellectual disabilities each year and gives sheltered and supported employment to half a thousand workers with functional diversity in Madrid, Colmenar Viejo, Barcelona, Malaga, Tenerife and Las Palmas.
In an event that took place in the sports pavilion of the Association's Integral Center for Disability Care, Quintero thanked the organizers for their support of Envera's mission and did not want to forget in his words the president of IAG, Antonio Vázquez, "a phenomenal tenor who does not hesitate to help Envera".
