- The gala took place at Vocento's headquarters with the participation, among other personalities, of the Ombudsman, Ángel Gabilondo.
- Under the sponsorship of Telefónica and Santander, the work of Plan Internacional España, África Directo, Asociación Infantil Oncológica de Madrid (ASION) and Clínica Jurídica Pro Bono CEU was also recognized.

This Tuesday the gala of the XIX edition of the ABC Solidario Awards was held at the headquarters of Vocento and recognized the solidarity of projects and organizations that contribute to and improve the lives of those most in need, such as Envera, a non-profit organization created in 1977 by Iberia employees and which today, open to the whole of society, serves 5,000 people with disabilities and their families each year and provides stable employment to more than 850.

The President of Envera, José Antonio Quintero, and five students with intellectual disabilities received the award from the hands of Eva Fernández Gómez, Global Communications Director of Telefónica and member of the jury of the ABC Solidarity Awards, together with journalist Ángel Expósito, director of La Linterna de COPE; Cecilia Yuste, Director of Institutional Relations of the Santander Group; Leonor Gallardo, Vice Chancellor of the University of Castilla-La Mancha; Julián Quirós, Director of ABC; Vero Boquete, footballer and player of Fiorentina; and Ángel Gabilondo, Ombudsman.
The jury thus recognized Envera's commitment throughout its 46 years of social work "with one goal: to accompany people with disabilities throughout their lives".
In addition to Envera, which received the award in the category of Solidarity Entity, also recognized in the Solidarity Project category were the Child Friendly Spaces projects of Plan International, the Africa Directo Foundation and the Children's Oncology Association of Madrid (ASION). The fifth winner, in the University Volunteering category, was the Pro Bono CEU Legal Clinic.
