Envera has strengthened its Tenerife delegation's Labor Insertion Service (SIL), aimed at guiding, training and facilitating access to employment for people with disabilities, thanks to the help of three major entities that have committed to the inclusion of professionals with disabilities. The "la Caixa " Foundation - Caja Canarias, Mapfre Foundation and Proexca, through their calls for grants and subsidies, support the SIL which, so far this year, has found employment for 24 people and has assisted 71 candidates to date.
Thus, through its Call for Social Projects, the "la Caixa" Foundation - Caja Canarias supports the SIL Avanza Envera project. Mapfre and Proexca are financing the Atenea Envera and SIL Envera projects, respectively.
The SIL is a free service that aims at the social and labor integration of people with disabilities in the labor market, acting as an intermediary agent between the person seeking employment and the company requesting professionals with disabilities to join its staff.
In this way, Envera advises, informs and accompanies candidates with disabilities, especially intellectual disabilities, in their incorporation process, while providing ongoing support to companies, enabling them to comply with the General Disability Law and develop their social responsibility plans (CSR).
