Envera receives the Special Logistics Leaders 2022 Award from the UNO employers' organization.

Envera received the Special Logistics Leaders 2022 Award, which the sector's employers' association UNO granted this Wednesday during the Logistics & Automation Fair at IFEMA, and which was presented by the Regional Minister of Transport and Infrastructure of the Community of Madrid, David Pérez, to Envera's CEO, Enrique Grande, accompanied by Félix Seco and Jennifer Vivas de Bernardo, who represented the more than 850 workers with disabilities at Envera.

The NGO, which now celebrates 45 years since its birth of the Iberia company, has received this recognition "for its great work in the vital support of people with disabilities and, especially, for its important performance in labor integration betting on equal opportunities," said Perez to give the "congratulations on behalf of the entire sector to Envera".

CARTEL_Labor Insertion 2022As a non-profit organization open to all of society, Envera serves more than 4,800 people with intellectual disabilities and their families each year and employs 850 professionals with disabilities on a stable basis thanks to the services offered to more than 300 companies and entities such as handling and laundry work, outsourcingThe company's activities in the areas of digital transformation, waste management, transportation and logistics at a national level, "always with the highest standards of quality and excellence, competing in an open market and with a deep-rooted social commitment".

Along with Envera, other leading organizations such as L'Oréal, Too Good To Go, Desigual, Domino's Pizza, Callaghan and journalist Beatriz Treceño of Expansión were also honored at a ceremony presided over by Board Member David Pérez and UNO Chairman Francisco Aranda.

In accepting the award and before an audience that included some of the main companies in the logistics sector, Grande reminded the audience that "if it is essential for the survival of the planet to be greener, it is also essential to be more human, because people are at the center of this frenetic activity that never stops and must be sustainable".

In addition to its own logistics services, Envera, which coordinates the Competitive Social Responsibility Board of Madrid Foro Empresarial-CEIM, also advises and accompanies companies in the development of their CSR plans to contribute to eleven Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the UN Agenda 2030 and to make this activity sustainable by relying on the talent of people with disabilities in a key sector that, as pointed out by the employers' association, represents 6% of GDP in Spain and employs more than 950,000 workers.
