The disabled people of the Envera residence have thanked the health care workers of the Alameda de Osuna Health Center (Madrid) for their help during the pandemic.

Ten people with intellectual disabilities from the Envera residence in Madrid went to the Alameda de Osuna Health Center on Tuesday to present the health workers with handmade hearts as a thank you for the "effort made to combat COVID-19".
The Envera residents read a communiqué addressed to "all the doctors, nurses, assistants, orderlies, maintenance and cleaning staff and, in general, to all of you who have been on the front line of the battle, because with your work and dedication you have become our favorite heroes".
"Thank you very much for helping us, for taking care of us, for being there when we got sick. Thank you for your availability and courage and, above all, thank you for having reassured us and accompanied us in these difficult times. We want to give you all our love and strength so that you continue to do just as well because together we will manage to defeat this virus. Together we are stronger", says Nuria Espí, who read the letter on behalf of the 48 companions who live in the Envera residence.
The event was also attended by the president of Envera, José Antonio Quintero, as well as the director, the head nurse and the coordinator of the Health Center on behalf of the healthcare and administrative professionals who work in this primary care service of the Community of Madrid.
