As part of its CSR policy and demanding social inclusion protocol, Islazul has become a pioneer and a benchmark by being the first shopping center in Spain to have a photo booth of this kind. Only Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas airport has a similar facility.

This model of machine, managed by Tecnotron and operational only in Italy and Spain, has a number of particularities that make it accessible to all users: it has no floor to facilitate wheelchair access, has a folding seat inside the cabin and is equipped with a sensor that regulates the height of the person to take the photograph.

The inauguration of the photo booth, which is now operational, was attended by several members of Envera, including Kenia Herráez, a resident with reduced mobility of this non-profit organization, who was able to try out the new photography service first hand.

It should be noted that Islazul has been awarded the Universal Accessibility Certificate, according to the UNE 170001 standard, which confirms that the shopping center enables any user to move around, communicate, carry out activities and use its facilities without any kind of barriers, with total autonomy and equal conditions.

The collaboration between Envera and Islazul dates back to 2016 with the launch of. Envera Inclusion Point, the first space in Europe managed by people with disabilities in a shopping center and where Envera develops an important circular economy and solidarity recycling project.
